This class is for beginners and intermediate students who wish to take their practice to the next level. Vinyasa Flow level 1-2 classes include the basics of a flow class with a dynamic practice that focuses on combining movement with breath control and an overall energizing and invigorating yogic experience.

 

 

Tuesday

11:30 am, Camp Foster Gym

Vinyasa Level 2

This is a class for students who are familiar with postures and are looking do deepen their practice while building strength, balance and flexibility. This class will meet you where you are, meaning, modifications are demonstrated as well as ways to deepen the posture. There is room for play and you are encouraged to make this practice your own.

 

Wednesday

6 - 7:15 pm, Camp Foster Gym

Vinyasa Level 2-3

This class invites you to work to your edge as we move through vigorous flows. We explore the depths of our strength, find trust and stability in balance and release with flexibility. Although this class is geared toward the experienced practitioner, modifications are demonstrated and welcomed. Come and explore your edge with me.

Thursday

6:30-7:30 pm, The Yoga Tree Okinawa

Heated Vinyasa

This 60-minute heated vinyasa class will help you build strength, balance and flexibility as we move through an invigorating flow. This class invites you to work at your own level offering modifications for all poses. It is highly encouraged that you explore your practice in an individual way. If you are inspired to move into poses note suggested within the class or to deepen those offered, I encourage you to explore that. Combining Vinyasa principals with the addition of heat, this class will leave you feeling powerful and empowered. Come sweat out your troubles, move your body and still your mind.

This class is hosted at The Yoga Tree Okinawa studio. Classes hosted here have a maximum number of 16 students. This small class size and studio setting allows you to explore deeper parts of your practice and allows me as the instructor to deliver a more personalized approach to each student, offering hands-on adjustments when appropriate and for those who are comfortable. As this is a studio space, you can expect to dive deeper into the yoga practice moving beyond just asana (postures), exploring pranayama (breath control) and meditation as well.

This vinyasa class invites you to work at your own pace. A great way to start of your morning, we'll move through fun and inspiring flows that allow you to modify or intensify to your level and goals. Play with strength, flexibility, balance.

This class is hosted at The Yoga Tree Okinawa studio. Classes hosted here have a maximum number of 16 students. This small class size and studio setting allows you to explore deeper parts of your practice and allows me as the instructor to deliver a more personalized approach to each student, offering hands-on adjustments when appropriate and for those who are comfortable. Yoga Nidra

Twice monthly at, The Yoga Tree Okinawa

Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing sleep-based meditation that will take you on a journey like no other. 

It is not an asana (posture), but a conscious state that flirts on the border of sleep. Deep transformation can happen in yoga nidra because you can permeate into the subconscious through the practice, bringing powerful potential for healing and self-growth. During this 60-minute class, students will be invited to lay into a comfortable position with their eyes closed. I will then take you on a journey of deep relaxation as I guide your awareness throughout your body, breath, senses and emotions. This is a class accessible for all. No previous mediation experience is required. This class is a great tool to combat stress, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD or any type of trauma systems.

Comfortable clothing is highly encouraged. We have props in the studio but feel free to bring your own bolsters, pillows, blankets, etc.
